OPEN LAB: Hands On with IBM i Access Client Solutions
Try it, You will like it! IBM i Access Client Solutions is the newest member of the IBM i Access Product Family and is a platform independent client that is supported running on multiple Operating Systems like Macintosh, Linux and Windows. During this self directed lab session, the participant will have the opportunity to interact with this product and try out most of it's capabilities like the best 5250 emulator, Data Transfer, working with Printer output, the Integrated File System and More.
This lab will introduce the participant to many functions of the IBM i Access Client Solutions product by allowing them to use the product via guided self paced exercises

OPEN LAB: Hands On with IBM i Mobile Access
Mobile access to your IBM i is becoming increasingly necessary. Managing your IBM i systems as well as providing user access from any mobile device, cell phones and tablets is becoming a requirement for the business. In response to this, we have the IBM i Mobile Access Solution to begin addressing these needs. This lab will provide the participant with a guided, self-paced, interaction with the solution. Becoming familiar with the 5250 interface, running SQL Queries, interacting with Printed Output, the IFS and much more. This lab is intended to run from your own internet connected mobile device of your choice.
Experience the IBM i Mobile Access experience from your own mobile device to learn if it is a solution that would be beneficial to deploy in your environment

OPEN LAB: Hands On with IBM Navigator for i
Try it, You will like it! IBM Navigator for i is the web based IBM i OS navigator environment that runs on your IBM i OS that has been available since IBM i OS r7.1. IBM Navigator for i is a critical tool for administrating and managing your IBM i OS, contains great value add tools like Performance Data Investigator and is the navigator environment relied on by the IBM i Access Client Solutions infrastructure. IBM i Access Client Solutions is a platform independent client that is supported running on multiple Operating Systems like Macintosh, Linux, and Windows. Familiarity with IBM i Access Client Solutions is very important as this is the future of the IBM i Access Family software on workstation operating systems. This future is already here as IBM i ACS is the only client supported on Windows 10 and later OS, and IBM i Access for Windows is being withdrawn from support on April 30, 2109. This hands on lab exercise will guide you through many of the functions and capabilities of IBM Navigator for i, allowing the user to become familiar with these capabilities and become comfortable with the environment.
